We kicked off our Chris Van Allsburg unit by reading The Wreck of the Zephyr. The students have the opportunity to do extra credit in Reading by creating a model of the Zephyr. Students are excited to read more Chris Van Allsburg books because they know he has written Jumanji and The Polar Express. Stay tuned for pictures of their sailboats and more with Chris Van Allsburg!

Chris Van Allsburg
